Being Nice on the Internet by Stephen Vlog

Another awesome video I found on YouTube. I have been subscribed to Stephen for a while now, and enjoy his daily vlogs and Let’s Plays; but every once in a while he makes an amazing video with really good messages.

This is one of those videos. It discusses how the non face-to-face interaction of the internet helps bring out the worst in people, and how we all need to take a step back and realize what we’re doing.

I find this message very, very true. Being a past member of online religious groups has shown me how nasty people can be to each other, and how much I don’t like it.

I hope everyone can find it in their hearts to remember that we aren’t speaking to robots over the internet. Everyone you talk to is a living breathing human being just like you, and you should treat them as such.
